Social Media, Apps, and Mumineen

Facebook and Twitter

The rise of social media such as Facebook and Twitter have changed the way humans process information. Now we have instantaneous access to small snippets of information which we can view through these social media sites.

Malumaat.com and Mumineen.org both have Twitter accounts, so you can get your use faster. Khidmat Guzars from all over the world have started Facebook groups, with thousands of participating Mumineen, to spread information. Within hours of Aqa Maula’s (TUS) waaz in Karbala during Kun Safar 1430, the Mumineen Facebook group alerted users  that Maula (TUS) had bestowed upon Mumineen the Fulkul Hussain marisiyah.

Applications for Smartphones

Smartphone use across the world is increasing and with it comes ways to do perform amal without hassle.

Praying namaaz properly 5 times a day as is both farizat and Aqa Maula’s khushi, becomes easier with the help of applications for the iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.

This app for Android was created by Mumineen:

Actually…we don’t actually make these apps. We were just discussing which one’s we liked to use. I’m sure someone out there has scanned the entire fajar hafti somewhere. If it’s in pdf format, you can always convert it to .epub and use an iphone e-reader app to read it like an actual book.
